Lots of big news this month!

May 22, 2018

It has been a very busy month for us at Gluten-Free Made Easy!

On April 8th, GFME was a FINALIST is the Staten Island Cookbook Competition. The recipe that we entered was a Gluten-Free crepe filled with goat cheese, cucumbers and pistachios. GFME was honored to be chosen for a second year after becoming 2017’s Grand Prize Winner. It was an exciting day filled with wonderful recipes, entertainment and some very wonderful dishes presented by the other finalists involved.

On May 13th, the results were announced! Sadly, we did not win the Grand Prize, BUT we still won by making more people aware of Celiac Disease!

We also joined into a partnership with Namaste Foods, LLC! They are a family owned business who have been operating since 2000. They are able to provide products for people challenged with food allergies, intolerances and sensitivities. You can learn more by visiting their website here: Namaste Foods LLC

We want to thank all of you who chose to enter the Instagram Giveaway Contest! Our winner is Julie Farmer from Ontario, Canada! Congratulations!

We are confident that discovering the goodness and ease of using the Namaste Foods products will develop a lasting appreciation for their high quality!

Easy Tips

A Gluten-free diet is a diet that does not have a protein called gluten in it. Gluten is found in many grains such as wheat, barley and rye. Anyone who has to manage the symptoms of celiac disease will become adept at understanding and following a gluten free diet.

Please be aware that one of the most important and crucial part of a gluten free diet is to base your diet around fresh fruit, vegetables and meats (if desired.) It also is very important to read and understand the labeling in the marketplace. Thankfully, due to public awareness, these products can be found in in your local markets, but it takes commitment to read, learn and understand what you need. Knowing that “Wheat free” does not mean “gluten free” is crucial. AtGluten-Free made Easy, we are committed to help you achieve success and a healthy diet that is exclusively for this special segment of people.

“A recipe has no soul, you as the cook must bring soul to the recipe.”
