As we inch closer to Thanksgiving, I love incorporating autumn herbs into EVERYTHING! This is a refreshing creation that is SO easy!
Warning, this takes a little planning. Makes 4 cocktails.
1 cup fresh blackberries
3/4 cup turbinado sugar
2 small sage leaves
2 cups tonic
2 ounces Tito's vodka
More Sugar, blackberries and sage leaves to garnish
In a small container, muddle together the blackberries, sugar and sage leaves. Leave in the fridge a few hours or overnight.
Assemble the cocktail: Put 3-4 ice cubes in each old fashioned glass. Pour the blackberry mixture between the four glasses. Top with 1/2 cup tonic, 1/2 ounce vodka and a splash of lemon juice. Garnish with blackberries and more sage leaves.
